iPhone 5 Is Apple’s Thinnest Yet

By: Chris Crum - September 12, 2012

Apple just put an end to all of the iPhone 5 rumors by actually unveiling the iPhone 5. And yes, that’s actually what it’s called.

Apple says it’s the “most beautiful” product it has ever made (dont’ they say that every time?). It also happens to be the thinnest iPhone yet. It comes in at 7.6mm thick, which is a whopping 18% thinner than the 4S.

The device also weighs 112 grams, which is 20% lighter than the 4S.

The screen is the same width but is taller. It’s a 4-inch 326ppi Retina display at 1136 x 640 resolution.

More details on the device on the way. Live updates here.
