Google Affiliate Network Publishers Get Paid Faster

Starting next month, Google will pay publishers in the Google Affiliate Network more quickly – 30 days more quickly.

The company announced that it is eliminating about a month’s time from its current payment schedule. “This enables publishers to be paid within 30 days or 60 days of driving a valid conversion, depending on the advertiser’s schedule,” says product marketing manager Erica Sievert.

Google says advertisers can unlock new distribution opportunities by attracting publishers who require fast payments and increase efficiency by managing publishers who weren’t previously able to work with the payment schedule.

Publishers will be able to assume less risk when floating market dollars up front, the company says, “so they can focus on innovation and growth.”

Publishers will get next month’s earnings next month, rather than November. For next month only, publishers will get a combined payment for July/August and August/September.

In October, Google Affiliate Network and AdSense payments will be on the same schedule.
