  1. LivingSocial’s $3b valuation is quite a ways off from Groupon’s suspected $25b valuation, but I’m not sure Groupon can keep climbing at the same rate that they have (though I saw they have nearly doubled their staff to 6500 since November!!). Regardless, I love daily deal sites and I’m enjoying all of the bargains I’m getting, regardless of which deal site it’s from! I started LocalDealSites.com as a guide to daily deal sites like Groupon and LivingSocial and I have over 159 daily deal websites listed! You can filter by city to see which sites have offers in your area. If you know of more sites like these, please send them via the contact us link on my website.

  2. i dont think that in the presence of groupon the livingsocial can excel as a leader however i suggest http://www.masterseek.com Masterseek’s global search engine provides quick and free access to, among other things, company profiles, contact information, and descriptions of products and services from more than 45 million companies in 75 countries.

  3. Aaron doesn’t explain, and Abby should have asked this, how exactly do you have a long-term relationship with local merchants if they’re only doing one deal a day? Is it through their LivingSocial Instant service they’ve just added?
