Today at CES Sensics unveiled their new Natalia SmartGoggles. These remarkable goggles offer users a fully immersive 3D gaming experience. They sport dual OLED displays, a sensors to detect head position and acceleration, and first-person tracking of the wearer’s hand position. The fun doesn’t stop there: the goggles run Android 4.0 and have a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The hand motion tracking allows users to interact with menus and control game actions – including using weapons and interacting with the environment. Wi-fi and bluetooth connectivity allows users to use the goggles with their phones or computers, and to download content to the internet.

Sensics has opened the SmartGoggles up as a development platform for developers. They foresee a wide variety of applications for the technology, including gaming, academic, and defense implementations.

There is no information yet on pricing, though Sensics is predicting that the goggles will be available later on this year. They have the goggles available at CES for demonstrations, and have posted a video on YouTube. Check out the video below, and let us know what you think in the comments.
