Video search engine blinkx has introduced four custom browser add-ons for Internet Explorer 8 users.

"Together or separately, these four add-ons will change the way users interact with blinkx.com, their Internet Explorer 8 browser and video on the Web," said Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CEO, blinkx.

For the longest time in hacker folklore Internet Explorer and Microsoft Windows were the key targets and most exploitable while Macintosh and Safari were virtually ignored. But times they are a-changin’, roles are reversing, and Google’s Chrome comes out as a dark horse.
