Disney has launched a new Web site for fans of its characters and movies called D23.

D23 refers to the year 1923 when Disney first began. Disney says the site will be the premier online destination for Disney fans. The site features breaking news, exclusive stories, blogs, historical retrospectives, a collectibles boutique, and special event information.
