Amazon Revises Kindle 2 Text-To- Speech Policy Syndicate content

Amazon.com has changed its position on its Kindle 2 book reader and says it will allow copyright holders to decide if they want to enable a text- to- speech feature on a title-by-title basis. "Kindle 2's experimental text-to-speech feature is legal: no copy is made, no derivative work is created, and no performance is being given," Amazon said in a statement.
