  • Its always been said that tattoos are a physical expression of one’s individuality, and singer, Zayn Malik, has no problem expressing his. The One Direction band member decided on yet another image just yesterday. However, this particular time it wasn’t another image with the resemblance of his fiance’ Perrie Edwards’ face. This time, Malik decided on an image of an antique revolver.

The “Story of My Life” singer headed down to Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club in West Hollywood, CA to get the new ink job down. The Shamrock is actually a notable tattoo parlor in the city, and one of the band’s favorite spots. The tattoo, which was designed by ink artist, Louie F. Perez III, turned out relatively large, extending down the side of Malik’s ribcage. According to ContactMusic, Malik was also seen leaving the Shamrock on Thursday evening.

Perez also took to social media, sharing a picture of the detailed artwork on Instagram. The celebrity tattoo artist boasted of his work saying, “Made sure my homey was strapped.” However, the image was soon deleted after it was posted due to the negative reaction it received from the band’s fans, affectionately referred to as the ‘Directioners’. However, Malik ended up posting the picture on Instagram himself just a day ago.

One Direction is currently on tour in the United States. The group’s third album, “Midnight Memories” is scheduled to hit stores on Monday, Nov. 25.
