According to TMZ, the court documents stated that the “Put On” rapper was involved in a physical altercation with his son in a bathroom. Jeezy reportedly slammed his son into a glassed shower door, causing him to hit his head.

But the fight didn’t end there. The documents go on to explain that the ‘Snowman’ allegedly went on to strike the boy, punching him in the face, before dragging him from the bathroom to a bedroom. The boy was then beaten with a closed fist. The boy attempted to escape and flee, but one of his father’s bodyguards was guarding the stairwell.

The police documents goes on to state that the rapper then choked his son while telling him, “I will kill you.” The rapper’s son claims that his father said, “I will put a bullet in your head right now,” adding, “If I could get away with it, I would kill you.” The alleged incident occurred in 2012.

The publication reports that Jeezy turned himself into the authorities of Fulton County on Friday. Grand jury warrants were issued for all three charges. However, he was later released on bond in the amount of $45,000.

The TM: 103 rapper’s attorney issued a brief statement in regards to the rapper’s arrest. “We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this  moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for  his family’s privacy.”

However, the charges are only the latest of Jeezy’s legal entanglements. Canoe reports that he is also in the middle of a legal battle for copyright infringement over Leroy Hutson soul samples he used for his song, “Time.”
