  • Willow Shields proved on this week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars that she is indeed a force to be reckoned with.

Pulling off an impressive Paso Doble with partner Mark Ballas, Willow Shields took over the title of “Girl On Fire”, just for the night, while dancing as the fire to Mark’s ice.

Willow Shields’ hard work definitely showed and the couple earned eights straight across the board for a highest possible score of 32.

Even better, Willow Shields was dancing with injuries from practice.

Willow Shields wrote on her blog of her injury, saying, “I was feeling pretty good about our progress about half way through the week and then during a practice of a dip, I fell onto Mark’s knee knocking the wind out me.”

Willow Shields described her injuries, saying, “I kind of hit in an awkward way with my back slightly twisted. I have to admit, I’ve never had the air knocked out of me and it was a little scary. It took me awhile to catch my breath and also realized my ribs really hurt too.”

The Hunger Games star continued, “Well the doctor checked me out and let me know that I would have some bruising and be really sore for at least two days.”

She added, “I went to a chiropractor that afternoon and besides trying to relieve my sore back he discovered I had a rib out of place and popped it back into position.”

Even with sore ribs and bruising, Willow Shields blew everyone away.

Willow Shields made her family, and her Hunger Games co-stars, very proud.

Willow Shields said that her big screen big sister, Jennifer Lawrence, is “really excited.”

She added of her other co-stars, “I think everybody is like, ‘Where did this come from? Oh my god, you’re dancing!’ Like Jen, of course she was like, ‘Oh god, I would be so scared to do that.’ They’re all very excited.”
