Update: Since this was posted, WikiLeaks tweeted:

So, apparently that “10” wasn’t a reference to the number of months, which was the context I read it in. It appears to be a countdown.

Original Article: It sounds like WikiLeaks is about to release something “extraordinary” that news organizations have been sitting on for ten months. The WikiLeaks Twitter account tweeted out the following a few hours ago:

Everyone should follow the WikiLeaks twitter feed closely. Extraordinary news sometime in the next 96 hours. 3 hours ago via Mobile Web ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto

Here are some tweets the account has put out since then:

    That links to this video:

With the Academy Awards happening tonight, WikiLeaks also tweeted today:

Aside: WikiLeaks Collateral Murder film “Incident in New Baghdad,” up for Oscar tonight. http://t.co/jZgUowPu 1 hour ago via Mobile Web ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto

I guess we’ll find out soon what the big news is, and even sooner if the film wins an Oscar, .
