  • Vicki Gunvalson and some of her pals enjoyed a spa getaway that included a detox retreat this weekend. It was the perfect kind of rest and relaxation for the Real Housewives of Orange County star as the drama over ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ cancer scandal heats up. Detox treatments are known to be good for the body, mind, and the soul, and Vicki Gunvalson likely needs some help in all three areas.

“The start of our detox retreat at @bacararesortsb with @skyranchfitness and @clubdetox_oc. Yoga, meditation, hiking, massage and healthy eating is what’s in store for me this weekend,” she captioned the photo that showed her looking happy in a black evening dress.

Vicki Gunvalson also shared a shot of some of the healthy food she ate at her detox retreat.

“Great way to start the morning before my hike @bacararesortsb, @clubdetox_oc, @marisakenson, #healthyeating, #freshberries, #detox, #juicing,” she captioned it.

Just prior to attended her detox retreat, Vicki Gunvalson taped the season nine reunion of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Some sources report she won’t be returning for the show’s tenth season.

Meanwhile Vicki Gunvalson’s ex, Brooks Ayers, is cashing in on her name. He has traveled to New York to do an interview with Andy Cohen, but won’t share with Vicki what is was about. She is beginning to believe–as some of her costars have long believed–that Ayers might be faking his cancer.

Kudos to Vicki for treating herself to this weekend away. Stress can cause all sorts of toxins to invade the body, and she’s been under more than her fair share of late.
