  • Vanessa Hudgens lost her father, Greg Hudgens, to cancer less than 24 hours before she took the stage as Rizzo in Fox’s Grease: Live.

On Monday the actress took to social media, sharing a photo of herself with her mom as they visited her late father’s grave.

“Visiting pops with mama g,” Vanessa Hudgens captioned the shot.

Vanessa Hudgens shared word of her father’s passing via Twitter, assuring fans she would still perform in Grease: Live the next day.

About a week ago, the High School Musical star shared an old photo her mom found, of Vanessa Hudgens with her late dad.

“My mom found this picture of my dad and I. He would have hated that I’m sharing this but I think it’s just too cute. ❤️?,” she wrote.

Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend Austin Butler are under investigation for defacing rocks in Sedona, Arizona over Valentine’s Day weekend. A photo of a rock with their initials carved into it appeared on her Instagram page, but has since been removed. If the rock is located within the Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest, where authorities expect it may very well be, Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler are in a pile of trouble. They could face a $5,000 and/or up to six months in jail.

The actress has enough on her mind with having just said goodbye to her father. Hopefully legal action doesn’t need to be taken against Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend, adding even more misery to her present state.
