Online shopping just got fierce with the help of supermodel and bussinesswoman, Tyra Banks. Banks joins another celebrity investor, Ashton Kutcher, in the online shopping website TheHunt.com, which allows shoppers to search for outfits found on their social media sites, like Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and Tumblr, as well as different photo apps. The Hunt team will locate the items and inform shoppers where they can be purchased.

Banks, who is CEO and Chairman of The Tyra Banks Company, made the investment with her most recent arm of the business, Fierce Capital, LLC.

The supermodel, who completed an Owner/President Management extension program at Harvard Business School last year, told Women's Wear Daily why she created Fierce and chose The Hunt to be their first investment. "I created Fierce Capital LLC because supporting female owned, led and targeted businesses is extremely important to me. We are excited about The Hunt, our first fashion investment, because it truly sucks to discover a great style item but not be able to find and buy it. The Hunt solves that fashion dilemma in a fun and innovative way." Banks also said, "What I love about The Hunt is that women help other women find their perfect outfit [head-to-toe]. I am excited to be part of this new approach to collective retail and styling."

Early Monday morning, Banks hinted at the recent development via her Twitter account.

Banks finally broke the news around lunchtime.

The Hunt was founded by Tim Weingarten and Simon Peck, and is based in San Francisco.
