Travolta: Wedding Crash Isn’t His First

  • John Travolta was in Georgia earlier this week to renew his pilot’s license when he ran into a sweet young couple at a bar who said they were getting married the next day. Naturally, when you give Travolta information like that, he’s going to run with it.

The “Pulp Fiction” star showed up the next day for photo ops with the happy couple and their wedding party, wearing the same clothes he wore the night before, and the couple posted the pics to Reddit, where they went viral.

This isn’t his first time around a stranger’s wedding; in 1977, he crashed a party in Santa Barbara with Robin Williams.

“We were having fun, starting to relax, when we saw there was a wedding next door,” Travolta said. “We figured we’d crash it.”

“They figured out who we were,” Williams said. “Some guy yelled out, “Hey, they really are Mork and Vinnie Barbarino!'”

Travolta has had a rough few years, between the death of his son Jett in 2009 and the myriad accusations and lawsuits from men claiming Travolta solicited them for sex, but it looks like he’s not letting the controversy stop him from having a little fun, and it certainly isn’t stopping fans from allowing him to crash the biggest day of their lives.
