  • Tori Spelling is at the center of a new docu-series that will follow her and husband Dean McDermott in their relationship woes.

The couple were the focus of rumors galore last year after McDermott reportedly cheated on the actress with a woman he met while filming “Chopped Canada”.

“He told me he and Tori had a sexless marriage,” said 28-year old Emily Goodhand. “I believed him.”

Sources said at the time that Tori would not comment on the situation because she was concerned, not just for her family, but for her public image.

“She is refusing to comment on the cheating rumors publicly, even though she believes Dean did cheat on her,” the source told RadarOnline. “Tori is obsessed with having a picture perfect family, and thinks it’s a big part of her image. Commenting or addressing the cheating would taint that image. Things are very tense in the house right now, and Tori is making Dean’s life hell.”

According to a press release, the show cannot be predicted since it will follow the couple right before the episodes air.

“Tori has made the courageous decision to allow the audience to witness the most difficult and unpredictable period in her life. Intimate, raw, emotional and completely real, Tori will tell her story for the first time as it should be told — by her. Since viewers will be seeing events almost immediately after they occur, nobody knows how the drama will unfold — not Tori, not Dean — and only time will tell if Tori and Dean’s marriage survives.”

The new show, True Tori, will follow the couple in near-real time after McDermott leaves rehab and will premiere on Tuesday, April 22 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
