  • Tina Fey has a history of causing belly-laughs with her spot-on impression of Sarah Palin, and after making an appearance on Saturday Night Live over the weekend with bestie Amy Poehler and reprising her character, Palin felt the need to shoot back.

Sarah Palin, Senator John McCain, and Lindsay Graham got together to make a parody video of their own, in which Palin plays a twisted version of Fey’s character Liz Lemon from 30 Rock. In the video, Sarah downs caffeine while surrounded by a bunch of coworkers who come to the office dressed as Star Wars characters.

The parody has received mixed reviews, but many are giving Palin points for trying.

Fey hasn’t commented on the video, but she’s busy promoting her new movie with Poehler, Sisters, which went up against Star Wars: The Force Awakens at the box office and managed to hold its own. Meanwhile, Palin has made headlines this week after commenting on the Presidential candidates and what they have to say, backing Donald Trump’s controversial statements about banning all Muslims from entering the U.S.

“I think that Trump was trying to finish the conversation that would lead to a pause on immigration in general. I think that’s where he was going,” Palin said on CNN. “I’m not going to pick one right now, but what a nice problem to have if it came down to Cruz and Trump. That’s a good problem for voters to have, because we know that, as you say, they are both strong and very decisive and someone who would take the initiative. That is what we need today, and both of those candidates would fit that bill,” Sarah Palin said.

Tina Fey is fresh off a successful co-hosting gig at SNL, where she and Poehler parodied Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood and then partied with musical guest Bruce Springsteen.
