Alright, so today’s big viral homerun pokes fun at GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Sure, it makes fun of the fact that Romney has a reputation (in the minds of people from both parties, mind you) of having a problem keeping himself straight on the issues – mostly how he feels on particular issues day to day. But it’s not a campaign ad for Santorum, or Obama for that matter. Just a great video that’s currently hitting it big on YouTube.

The video, “Will The Real Mitt Romney Please Stand Up (feat. Eminem),” has a great cast of characters that includes his GOP rivals Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich as well as President Obama. Set to the tune of Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady,” check out the real Mitt Romney calling out the other Mitt Romneys for just “mass debating”:

It kind of sounds like he accuses the other Mitt Romneys of doing something else, but nevermind.

Best sequences? I’d have to go with “My dog is on the roof. My dog is on the roof. Who let the dogs out? Who? Who?” or “Look I’m gonna get my lawn cut by illegals. There will be an influx. Hispanic voters in trucks. Look, if you don’t believe, I’ll tell you what, ten thousand bucks?”

I can’t quite see this being co-opted by the Obama campaign, I mean, it is a little scattered about. But if this kind of thing doesn’t show just how different election seasons in the viral age are from past election seasons, I don’t know what would.

Video creator Hugh Atkin seems to be enjoying the success of his video:

Thanks so much to everyone who has shared and commented on the video. The response has been amazing. Makes all of the hard work worthwhile.(image) 2 hours ago via web ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto
