As all players tend to do when they are fined for hits such as this one, Terrence Garvin pleads his innocence when saying “”I wasn’t out there trying to be vicious. When you’re in the game you’re really just trying to make a play and help your team out.”

The brutal hits that have been delivered from defensive players have gotten a bit out of hand this year, and Terrence Garvin is just the latest one to receive such a punishment. Several other players including Ndamukong Suh of the Lions, who is known as one of the most aggressive players in the league, continue to rack up fines in a league that is getting to be more dangerous every year.
