  • Teen Mom 2 is NOT cancelled, and will continue on without Leah Messer.

On Friday, November 21, Messer, 22, revealed via Twitter that she would not be returning for season six of MTV’s reality show.

A follower of Leah’s asked her if she would be doing season six, to which Leah immediately responded by simply saying “no.”

Since Leah’s decision went public, there have been rumors circulating that the show would be cancelled altogether. However, RadarOnline.com has exclusively revealed that MTV will be carrying on with production for the sixth season with Kailyn Lowry, 22, Chelsea Houska, 23, and Jenelle Evans, 22.

“The other girls have signed on and are ready to film a sixth season,” a source told the website. “They’ll be shooting as usual.”

So, why has Leah decided to abruptly leave the show that she has been a part of since she was 16 years old? Many are speculating that she has decided to pull herself out of the spotlight to focus on her daughters Adalynn Faith, 21 months, and twins Aleeah and Aliannah, who will be five soon.

Leah is currently in an intense custody battle with her ex-husband Corey Simms, and the show is making her look like an unfit mother. However, no one, including her fellow cast mates, know the true reason.

“Leah’s final court date is coming up, and her behavior on the show made her look really bad to the judge,” the source said, and then added: “She hasn’t told anyone what’s really going on.”
