Bing-Yahoo Transition Moves Forward In Australia, Brazil, Mexico

Australia, Brazil, and Mexico have populations of 22.5 million, 190.7 million, and 112.3 million people, respectively.  Which adds up to 325.5 million potential users, all in all.  It’s a big deal, then, that the Bing-Yahoo search transition progressed in these three countries today.

Microsoft Edges Google In Mexico

Mexico’s online population has jumped 20 percent in the past year to 15.5 million Internet users making it one of the fastest growing markets, according to a new report from comScore.

"With more than 15 million Internet users in Mexico and growing fast, advertisers are increasingly turning to the digital medium to reach their desired audiences with increased sophistication and efficiency," said Ivn Marchant, comScore Country Manager for Mexico.

Mexico May Crack Down On Twitter

In what might be record time, Twitter has made some enemies in Mexico.  The site became available in Spanish only three months ago, and now, certain authorities are looking to regulate it because delinquents and criminals have become heavy users.
