Suri Cruise appeared on stage this weekend at the 2015 Global Citizens Festival in Central Park. Mom Katie Holmes served as host for the event, bringing her nine-year-old daughter up on stage to wave to fans.

This marked the first time Suri Cruise had appeared in public since March 2015, when she joined other famous moms and kids including Angelina Jolie and Zahara and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt at the 2015 Kids’ Choice Awards.

Known for being a bit of a brat in public situations, Suri Cruise used to make faces at the paparazzi and behave in rather unbecoming ways when Katie Holmes or Tom Cruise brought her out in public. Perhaps some time away from the limelight has been good for the little girl?
