  • Steven Tyler touts Skittles candy in a Super Bowl 50 ad. The Aerosmith front man challenges his likeness–made, of course, of Skittles–to hit the high notes in one of the band’s biggest hits of all time, “Dream On.”

In addition to the absurdity of the ad itself, Steven Tyler appears to live inside a castle.

Steven Tyler certainly isn’t the only celebrity touting goods or services that are rather obscure in their worlds for Super Bowl 50. Those who aren’t football fans have long enjoyed the big game because of the creativity involved in the ads that run during the Super Bowl broadcast.

Heinz Ketchup is expected to be among this year’s more popular ads.

Someone else from the music world joins the ranks of Steven Tyler, appearing in a Super Bowl ad. Rapper Eminem is touting Chryslers.

Once you see others, Steven Tyler’s Super Bowl ad isn’t as dumb as it first appeared. It is expected by the end of Super Bowl Sunday, no one will be picking on him for his appearance in the rather ridiculous Skittles ad.
