Stephanie Moseley: Police Confirm Murder-Suicide

Stephanie Moseley, a popular dancer who made appearances on VH1's Hit The Floor, was reportedly shot and killed by her husband, rapper Earl Hayes, on Monday morning in L.A. News of her death first hit the web last night, when TMZ reported that boxer Floyd Mayweather had witnessed the murder-suicide while talking to Hayes on Facetime, and investigators have confirmed the deaths.

Mayweather and Hayes were reportedly good friends, and according to TMZ, Hayes began talking about his wife being unfaithful during the Facetime session. Mayweather has not commented publicly on what he saw or heard.

Moseley was scheduled to appear on Hit The Floor for a third season, and the network issued a statement regarding the tragedy.

“We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley. VH1 and the entire Hit The Floor family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time," the statement read.

Moseley was reportedly well-liked in the acting and dancing community and had worked with stars like Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyonce. She also had roles in film and on television and worked as a stunt double for Halle Berry in Catwoman.
