  • World renowned rocker, Bruce Springsteen, wrote songs about people who have gone missing and the sorrow that their loved ones suffer in their absence.

Bruce Springsteen has taken his concerns about missing persons to a whole new level by posting on Facebook on Twitter to help find a missing Boston College student, Franco Garcia. Garcia has been missing since February 22nd and was last seen at a popular college bar in Boston.

His posts request that anyone with information about the case call the Newton Police Department. After searching Garcia’s home for clues, police searched for him at a Chestnut Hill reservoir but found nothing.

Aside from writing songs like “Missing” and his genuine interest in finding people before it is too late, Springsteen has taken a special interest in Garcia’s disappearance because his son also attends Boston College.

Here is the tweet that he actually posted:

Help find Boston College student Franco Garcia. Last seen 2/22/12 in Brighton, MA. Call 617-796-2100 with any info. https://t.co/alchOmAB 1 day ago  via web ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto
