Sophie Turner may be a huge star on one of the biggest shows ever, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t get starstruck when faced with a handsome actor.
The Game Of Thrones actress found herself seated near Ryan Gosling at the SAG Awards on Saturday night and took the opportunity to snap a photo of herself with him in the background, saying, “Sorry boys. I’m off the market.”
Gosling is actually taken, but that won’t stop a girl from dreaming.
Sophie is enjoying the success her show continues to have after it snagged the award for best stunt team at the ceremony over the weekend. The actress told Entertainment Weekly recently that her character, Sansa Stark, will finally see some good things happen in the upcoming season after several years of hardships. Sansa fans have followed the redheaded beauty through the traumas of losing her family, marrying an insane spoiled king, and being brutally assaulted. Now, however, she’s going to take charge of her life.
“I mean this season is a really, really big one for Sansa. It’s probably her best season yet. It’s her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good,” Turner said.
Turner says that hers isn’t the only character that will see some big changes in the sixth season, and teases that it’s going to be a huge turn for the show.
“It was amazing because the past five seasons, it feels like it’s been building up and up to that. You can only suffer so much before she finally gets her, the respect that she deserves. I mean this season there’s like so many shocks, it’s massive. It’s the biggest season yet. And just like in terms of character development, so many people’s storylines, I’m so excited for. I’m so excited to see Alfie’s one this season. It’s going to be good,” Sophie Turner said.
