When it comes to the bad guy role on X Factor, Simon Cowell pretty well has it covered. Now that he is on a panel with three little nice girls, it is likely he will seem even more mean and grouchy, or will he? Demi Lovato seems to think that herself and the other two judges will help soften Cowell and convince him not to be so hard on the contestants.

If that doesn’t work, maybe becoming a father will help him calm down a little bit. Cowell has admitted that he feel pressured to be successful and to play a character on the show. With X Factor now in its third season, fans have come to expect Cowell to act a certain way and many people even tune in just to see how mean and cruel he can be.

Although he seems happy that he will soon be a father, his ex, Sinitta isn’t so thrilled. She said; “I suppose there has been a certain amount of comfort for me in my not having a child with Simon as he never wanted to have children. That’s who he was, you accepted it. Then, to discover that he is going to have a child, only with someone else and they’re building this life together.”

With so much happening in the life of Simon Cowell, it will be interesting to see what if anything will change the way he reacts to contestants on the show. He seems to be pretty set in his ways and it is not likely that he will ever become the nice guy that Demi Lovato hopes to change him into one day. When asked about his current situation he said, “I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”
