Selena Gomez made headlines with her blinding-white Golden Globes gown over the weekend, but the man who escorted her to the awards show after-party is stealing focus today: DJ Zedd, who produced Justin Bieber’s hit Beauty And A Beat.

Zedd, named by Forbes last year as one of the ten top-earning DJs, reportedly held hands with Gomez during the party and was photographed several times with the young star and her friend, model Cara Delevingne.

Gomez was also seen partying with Lena Dunham, Lorde, Jennifer Aniston and her fiance Justin Theroux, Paul Rudd, and Taylor Swift on the big night, and posted several photos to her Instagram account of the celebs having a blast.

Zedd began his career in Germany, but has been a hitmaker for several stars in the U.S. and Europe while building his own following. While E! News reported that he and Gomez are just friends–and have been working together–other news sources aren’t so sure after they reportedly engaged in some PDA at the party. Gomez was excited for the festivities, according to onlookers, and was especially happy to talk to Jennifer Aniston.

“Selena was in a giddy, excited mood. She was really excited when talking to Jennifer Aniston,” said a source.

The singer’s ex hasn’t commented on her choice of dates for the evening, but he did note on Instagram recently that he’s insecure about his appearance because he’s growing out his hair.
