For a while there, it looked like Kanye West and Scott Disick might be on the outs. The kinda-sorta-inlaws were the topic of gossip, with insiders telling various outlets that Kanye disapproved of Disick’s behavior while Kourtney is pregnant.
According to a source for Hollywood Life:
“Kanye already told Kim not to have Scott around [their daughter] North because there’s no telling whether he’s going to be partying or what might come out of his mouth. Kanye has told everyone in the family that too, even Kris [Jenner], because he’ll be damned if Nori is going to see a grown man, especially one in her family, acting a fool. He doesn’t want Nori around Scott — not at all.”
If this is true, Kanye isn’t the first in the Kardashian clan to take issue with Scott’s behavior. Kourtney herself famously told Disick, as seen in an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians:
“Unless you want to be sober, then I don’t want you here. If you want to die then you can continue to act this way.”
Disick had a hard run at partying for a while after his parents died, even after finding out that Kourtney was pregnant with their third child. And that behavior with a pregnant Kourtney is reportedly what set Kanye off. According to the source, Kanye has a code of behavior for supporting your pregnant woman.
“When your girl is pregnant, guess what, you’re pregnant too,” the source said. “You’re supposed to be there, with your babe, eating Godiva chocolate, having seconds at dinner, eating mint and chip ice cream and being supportive and not drinking alcohol. Meanwhile, this fool is out and about, clubbing and shit, drinking like the world is about to end. He’s a mess, a hot toxic mess.”
With that as the backdrop, the news of a Kanye/Disick “feud” fired up. But the guys seem to be putting those rumors to rest with a double-date appearance at a friend’s wedding.
