Sara Gilbert gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday.

Her third child, and first with Perry, was named Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry.

Sara Gilbert also has son Levi, 10, and daughter Sawyer, 7, from a previous relationship.

On Monday’s episode of The Talk, Julie Chen announced the good news and the resulting maternity leave of Sara Gilbert, saying, “Our very own Sara and her wife Linda are the proud parents of a new baby boy and both mother and child are doing well.”

Sara Gilbert has been on The Talk for a very long time, but many of us know her as the angsty Darlene from Roseanne.

Sara Gilbert, 40, starred opposite the great Johnny Galecki, who was her puppy-in-love admirer, David, for many years.

Linda Perry, 49, is the former lead singer for 4 Non-Blondes. Remember their hit? Of course you do if you’re over 30. You know you belted it out in your car more than once!

She is now a successful music producer. Linda Perry is reportedly responsible for many recent big hits from Christina Aguilera, Adam Lambert, and even Gwen Stefani.

Sara Gilbert began dating Linda Perry in 2011, and they were married last year.

The ladies on The Talk were doing a series of episodes about facing fears. That particular episode was supposed to follow Sara Gilbert as she faced her fears and laid down on a bed of nails.

Before the challenge was to begin, Sara Gilbert told the ladies that she was supportive of the idea of facing your fears. She teared up, confusing everyone.

Then, Sarah Gilbert announced that she couldn’t do her fear, because she was pregnant.
