Rob Kardashian, the reclusive Kardashian, has been rumored to be in a rehab center. Now his mom says that rumor is “completely fabricated.”

The whole thing started when Gossip Extra reported that a local celebrity bodyguard told them that Rob kardashian told him that he was going into a 60-day Palm Beach rehab center to fight addiction and lose weight. Rob Kardashian had eschewed the public eye ever since tabloids began poking at his weight issues.

Mark Behar said of Rob Kardashian, “He told me ‘This is it, I just need to stick with it and do this.'”

He further explained of the supposed rehab stay:

“Rob will probably lose 10 to 20 pounds within the first few weeks by just being in rehab and daily programs relating to his detox.”

But it is noteworthy that it was also reported that the rehab center did not allow visits and the use of cell phone in the first month and a half of treatment.

That is where the lie began to unravel. Momager Kris Jenner posted a screenshot of text exchanges between herself and her kids. It was intended to be funny, and she captioned it with:

“Kendall’s texts are cut off at the top and Kylie is on a plane… but this is how fun and silly my family’s text chains are on a daily .. Sorry guys I had to. #itjustgoesonandon”

These texts would indicate that Rob Kardashian — or at least someone with Rob’s phone — was texting with Kris Jenner when Rob was supposedly in a rehab center without access to his phone.

In recent episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the absent Ron has been the topic of conversation, with Kim Kardashian hitting hard.

“Everyone licks Rob’s ass and does whatever he says,” Kim said. “It’s just like, at some point you just have to give it up. We all make his life so easy.”

“I feel like if I don’t help him do something drastic, that he’s gonna die,” Kris Jenner herself said.

But sister Khloe Kardashian, who has been through the wringer herself thanks to tabloid exposure, is not leaving Rob’s side.

“Rob has become very introverted and has a kind of social anxiety,” Khloe said. “He’s definitely not at his happiest place that he once was, and I know he can get to that happy place and he will. It’s a growing process. I will always be his No. 1 supporter.”
