Renee Oteri was a fan favorite on the latest season of “The Bachelor”, but didn’t find a love connection with Juan Pablo Galavis. It wasn’t meant to be, however, because she ended up marrying her childhood best friend–and the first boy she ever kissed–on Thursday in a courthouse wedding.

Oteri and Bracy Maynard, who have known one another for 22 years, shared their nuptials in a low-key ceremony just one month after announcing they were engaged. They recently bought a home together and live there with Oteri’s 9-year old son Ben, who also served as the best man on the big day.

A friend of Oteri’s told Us Weekly that Oteri and Maynard are very happy together and have wanted this for a long time.

“She is so happy and has wanted this with her fiance for a very long time!” the source said. “We’re all so happy to see them back together! He is always the one everyone wanted to see her with!”

Oteri reportedly has no ill feelings towards Galavis, who has gotten some pretty negative reviews from fans of the show. Friends say she is incredibly happy and is ready to start a new life.

“Her fiance has known Ben since he was a baby,” a friend close to the couple said. “Renee is so excited to start over with her new family in Seattle.”
