Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore reunited for a cooking class recently. It wasn’t so long ago that the three ladies were together to watch Barrymore get married. A year ago the three vacationed in Mexico together. Now they’ve cooked up all sorts of new things together in Napa Valley at the Culinary Institute of America, via the “Cooking of Italy” class.

It was this past Wednesday when the ladies–joined by friends Gucci Westman, Leslie Fremar, and Long Vigi–got together for the gourmet cooking class. The group made homemade pasta and pizza, and prepared lamb chops together.

Diaz also shared an Instagram photo of Drew Barrymore making fresh pasta.

Reese Witherspoon must have especially appreciated the girl’s getaway. As a busy mom of three, she likely doesn’t get a whole bunch of child free time to herself. Barrymore will soon find out what that’s all about, too. She is expecting her second child very soon. Cameron Diaz is the only one of the famous three who doesn’t have any children.

Witherspoon dubbed the culinary fun #girlstrip2014. From the smiles on everyone’s faces it might very well become an annual event. And the guys at home certainly can’t complain too much. After all, they’re likely to reap the benefits of all the culinary expertise the ladies bring back home with them. The secrets, laughs and maybe even the wine they drank (all except for Drew Barrymore) can all stay safely guarded within their memory banks.
