  • ABC’s hit series, Pretty Little Liars is a show that’s no stranger to deceit. But when one of the promotional pictures was posted, show star, Ashley Benson wasn’t about to hold anything in-or back about the photoshopped image that’s been floating around.

The 23-year-old blonde beauty took to Instagram to post about the phony-looking pic.

Is Benson the only one thinking the promotional picture looks a bit hokey? The Instagram pic had over 250 thousand likes on it with comments saying, “On point. It’s a relief to hear your opinions about these posters.”

While most agree the picture looks a little fabricated, one user pointed out that not all the “lying ladies” look retouched.

One user posted, “Lucy is the only one who Doesent look 1000% photoshopped, but I agree, you guys look like computer made images.”

It seems Benson isn’t the only one who thinks the photo is a tad ridiculous. Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer on the show, hopped on Twitter to show support of her fellow “liar.”

After the many likes and comments, Benson replied by saying, “Love you guys so much.”

“The constant support and love I get from all of you makes me so happy. … Remember, you are ALL beautiful. Please don’t ever try and look like the people you see in magazines or posters because it’s fake. It only causes an unhealthy mind about how you see yourself. You are perfect the way you are,” said Benson.

You can catch the season premiere of Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family, Jan. 7th.
