  • Porsha Williams is finally breaking her silence about the infamous Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion brawl.

According to US Weekly, Williams has opted to open up about what really pushed her to her breaking point with RHOA co-star, Kenya Moore. The 32-year-old reality TV star expressed that her actions were derived from years of being bullied and the domestic abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband, former NFL star Kordell Stewart.

“I suffered severe bullying since I was a child, to the extent of contemplating suicide and was also physically and mentally abused in my marriage,” Williams explained.

“Throughout the season on Real Housewives I was manipulated and bullied and at the reunion taping when emotions were heightened,” Williams explained. “I was pushed too far with objects waved in my face and my personal space was continuously violated, and I reacted in a way which I am not proud of.”

Although an overwhelming number of fans feel Moore provoked Williams, and that her actions were justifiable, she still opted to issue a formal statement of apology.

Immediately after the fight, Williams could be heard saying that she was embarrassed by her own actions. So, she’s decided to put things into perspective for her fans and all of the Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers, collectively. Here’s what she had to say:

“Violence is not the answer and I want to apologize to my fans, the viewers and the other ladies for my behavior,” Williams told the publication.

“For the thousands of supporters that have stuck by me I thank you immensely and encourage you to donate to shelters for abused woman and support charities that stop bullying. As I mentioned on the show I am embarrassed of my reaction and the way that I handled the provocation and I am dedicated to helping others learn appropriate ways to cope with bullies and abusers and from this experience I hope to continue on a path of personal and spiritual growth.”

Although rumors have been circulating about Williams being fired from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bravo has yet to confirm or deny the claim.
