  • PlayStation 4 will be hitting the market in parts of Asia, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan. North America, Europe and Latin America will be getting the console in November, just in time for the holidays.

Launch titles for Asia include “Watch Dogs,” “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag,” “Minecraft” and “Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends,” while “Driveclub,” “The Crew,” “Killzone: Shadowfall,” “Battlefield 4,” “FIFA 14,” “Knack” and “Lego Marvel Super Heroes” were shown in a trailer at a press conference on Wednesday.

Japan will also be getting two other new gaming devices this fall. A slimmer version of the PlayStation Vita portable will be hitting shelves in October and Vita TV will be arriving in November. The United States will see these devices a little later in the winter, with the new PlayStation Vita arriving in November and the Vita TV arriving in January. Prices and exact release dates for the devices have not yet been released.

GameStop stores in in Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland have announced that they will be allowing customers to trade in their standard edition PlayStation 3 games for the new PlayStation 4 version of the same game for only €14.99.

This is an amazing opportunity for our European customers to enjoy their favorite PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 games until the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions become available,” said Mike Mauler, executive vice president of International at GameStop. “This offer gives our customers the chance to upgrade their current PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 games for the new PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions of the same game for a great price. This is a great example of how GameStop is helping gamers around the world make the transition to the next generation of consoles economical and seamless.”
