  • Paula Patton filed for divorce from Robin Thicke Friday, asking for joint custody of their son. The Precious and 2 Guns actress cited “irreconcilable differences.”

Apparently, Patton has also moved in with her new musician beau. Sources told RadarOnline that Patton’s new boyfriend, Zak Waters, moved in with her at her Calabasas home.

“Zak moved in with her a couple of weeks ago,” a close friend of Patton’s allegedly told the website. “They are very happy together and he treats her how she deserves to be treated.”

Patton, 38, and Thicke announced they were separating in February after nine years of marriage. The high school sweethearts have a four-year-old son, Julian Fuego Thicke.

“We will always love each other and be best friends,” the couple said at the time in a statement to People magazine.

Patton was the inspiration behind much of Thicke’s music and she appeared in many of his videos.

The 37-year-old singer’s latest album, Paula, wasn’t as successful as hoped, selling only 24,000 units in the U.S. when it was released in July. Thicke‘s previous album, Blurred Lines, sold 177,000 units when it debuted last year.

Thicke tried to woo his wife back with several public appearances in conjunction with the release of Paula, compete with pleas for her to come home.

In July, he told New York radio station Hot 97, “[Cheating] is not why we’re apart. We’re apart because we just couldn’t be together anymore for a while. There’s a hundred different reasons, there isn’t just one. There’s a long list…I changed, and I got a little too selfish, a little too greedy and little too full of myself.”
