Paris Hilton has been pretty quiet lately, and perhaps that is because the girl that was once known as famous for being famous has actually grown into quite the entrepreneur.

Paris Hilton enjoyed many years of partying, frolicking, and general debauchery before she finally parlayed her famous face and wealth into something worthwhile.

Now, Paris Hilton earns millions of dollars each year from her own fragrance and fashion lines. There are Paris Hilton stores all over the place and her career as a business woman has really taken off.

Paris Hilton’s success and her association was the springboard for many a seemingly latent success story, including another “famous for being famous” face, Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian got her start as Paris Hilton’s personal assistant, and after following in Hilton’s footsteps and going with the “leaked” sex tape route to fame, Kardashian is now an even bigger name than Paris Hilton was.

Paris Hilton said of Kim, “We’ve known each other since we were little girls, we’ve always been friends. It’s nice to inspire people, so yeah, I’m really proud of her and what she’s done, though.”

Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton still remain close to this day. In fact, Hilton has been hanging out with Kardashian and her family.

Paris Hilton said of their latest visit, “I saw her a few weeks ago in New York and we were hanging out. [Kim Kardashian and Kanye West] are so cute together. They’re the perfect couple. [North West] is so cute. She’s always wanted to have a family so I’m really happy for her.”

And to think, Paris Hilton is the one who made all of Kim Kardashian’s dreams come true.
