  • Netflix has been racking up the awards and nominations, but it won’t count any Screen Actors Guild or Producers Guild awards among its trophies this year.

Its shows were recognized by both guilds with several nominations, but no wins.

The Producers Guild Awards saw House of Cards nominated for the Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television, Drama, but the show lost out to Breaking Bad. Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones and Homeland were also nominated for the award.

Arrested Development was nominated for the Danny Thomas Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television Comedy, but lost to Modern Family. 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory and Veep were also nominated.

    At least Kevin Spacey entertained:

Spacey was nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series Award at the SAG awards for House of Cards, but lost to Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad. Other nominees for the category included Steve Buscemi for Boardwalk Empire, Jeff Daniels for The Newsroom and Peter Dinklage for Game of Thrones.

Jason Bateman was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for Arrested Development, but lost to Ty Burrell for Modern Family. The other nominees were Alec Baldwin for 30 Rock, Don Cheadle for House of Lies and Jim Parsons for The Big Bang Theory.

House of Cards was able to pick up a Golden Globe the previous weekend via Robin Wright, and the Netflix original documentary The Square has been nominated for an Oscar.
