  • Nick Lachey has a new gig! Next week, the former 98 Degrees star is set to debut as the host of VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live.

According to the Cincinnati Inquirer, the weekday talk show reboot is set to take place in front of a live studio audience at MTV’s old Total Request Live studio in Times Square.

Lachey weighed in with a brief statement from the publication expressing his anticipation of hosting the show. “I’m looking forward to being myself, and injecting my personality in the show,” he said.

While he’s definitely amped about the show, he’s also been promoting his new album, A Father’s Lullabies. On Thurs. Feb. 27, the Sing-Off host stopped by the Today show to discuss the upcoming VH1 show and the album.

However, he didn’t just talk. He also belted out a tune, crooning sweet, soothing lullabies for the show’s hosts Natalie Morales, Tamron Hall and Willie Geist. Then, there was the comical “boy-band trivia” that left the show hosts with tears of laughter.

He even shared a brief clip of the comedic banter via Instagram. The caption for the picture read, “A little boy band trivia with The @TodayShow hosts. Sorry @tamronhall, but 96* is not the correct answer!”

Fans will have a lot to look forward to with the show’s big premiere coming up on Monday. Lachey has a star-studded list of guests expected to appear on the show.

Cheetah Girls actress Adrienne Bailon, Chicago PD’s Sophia Bush, and entertainment reporters Jack Rico and Jackie Miranne will be there to gush about the upcoming Oscars, set for Sunday, Mar. 2. Grammy-nominated rock band The Fray is also set to perform on the show.

The network also shared that Lea Michele, Michael Vartan, Kristen Bell, Joe Magniello, Nick Cannon and Mekhi Phifer are also scheduled to make appearances on the show in the near future.

Fans can start tuning in to see Nick Lachey on the Big Morning Buzz Live starting Monday, Mar. 3 at 11/10am ET.
