  • Nick Jonas has changed a lot over the last year and although he is still close with the other Jonas brothers, he is also doing well with his solo career.

Nick was always the quiet, sensitive brother and still considers himself very down to earth. After bulking up and releasing a new single called Chains, Nick seems to have a little more confidence and self-esteem.

Nick recently opened up about his new single and his new music style.

“I think what’s great about Chains – and the reason I really connect with it – is that anyone can make it about whatever chains are in their life,” he told the US edition of OK! magazine. “For me, it’s about trying to be bold and fearless as an artist. So, to me, the chains are fear.”

Nick is working on a new album and although there were rumors that it would be titled Flames, Nick said that he decided to make it a self-titled album in order to make it more personal.

“It seemed like the right thing to do to show this is who I am now,” he explained of the chosen title. “This is the kind of music I want to create, and these are the statements that I want to make. And I want [my fans] to come along on that journey with me.”

Nick has a lot on his plate right now. In addition to trying a new music style, releasing a new single and working on an album, he also has a role on the television show Kingdom, where he plays an MMA fighter.

To get ready for the part, Nick had to bulk up and put on some muscle. His new look works well with his new music style and outlook on life.
