  • Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have plenty to worry about right now as their relationship comes to an end.

Add to that a nanny that is sueing them for wages she says she is owed for watching the couples’ twins.

Well, not just watching. According to the complaint against Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, “Ms. Carey would often call Plaintiff at hours in the middle of the night and demand to be taken to her children or to be updated as to the status of her children.”

The legal papers obtained by TheWrap also stated, “Mrs. Carey would not tolerate any delay when she called and Plaintiff had to attend to her every demand, spontaneous or otherwise, whether called upon during the day or in the middle of the night.”

    Best part of the night!

Doesn’t it seem like we’ve heard similar complaints about Nick Cannon’s ex-wife before?

The former nanny for Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey wasn’t fired for stealing. She wasn’t fired for neglect. She wasn’t fired for not showing up.

She was fired for being too good.

The suit against Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey makes it clear that “Ms. Carey terminated Plaintiff after berating her for exhibiting too much affection towards her children.”

The woman also claims that she was forced to work over 100 hours on many weeks and was deprived of overtime pay.

The worst part is that Nick Cannon’s former nanny isn’t the only one.

The suit says, “There are numerous similarly situated current and former employees of Ms. Carey and Mr. Cannon who were subjected to the aforementioned policy.”
