Olympic volleyball star and two-time gold medalist Misty May-Treanor wants to add a disco-ball trophy to her mantle, and she’s taken to Facebook to make it happen.

May-Treanor appeared on “Dancing With The Stars” during season seven in 2008 but was forced to drop out of the competition when she tore her Achilles tendon. Now, she’s started an online petition of sorts, asking fans if they will help her get back on the show for their “All-Star” season this fall.

If Facebook “likes” count for anything, May-Treanor may have a shot at getting back on the show, as over 900 people have given their support to the beach volleyball star. Several comments on her post vow a vote for her.
