  • Miranda Lambert and her husband Blake Shelton are well known country music superstars, and with that comes the unwanted tabloid attention.

During a recent interview with Billboard, Lambert addressed the gossip, not only about her marriage, but about her significant weight loss as well.

“I think I’ve had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we’ve been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce,” Miranda joked about the rumors circulating about her relationship with Blake. Lambert assured her fans that the divorce rumors are false, and that she and Blake are happier than ever.

Miranda recently lost a noticeable amount of weight, and there has been speculation as to why. She explained that her weight loss was not due to depression or relationship problems, but her just wanting to feel better about herself. “It just feels like you can’t do anything for yourself anymore,” she said. “Have you ever thought I might just be turning 30 and trying to get a little ahead of the game? Isn’t that just a normal thing to do?”

Miranda also discussed her evolvement as an artist. She made her name to fame with her bad girl songs such as Gun Power and Lead and Kerosene, but she said she has another softer side, which she has tried to show with her songs like The House that Built Me. ‘Hey, I have this other side. I love pink and puppies, too,'” Lambert said.

“All that fiery stuff and guns is what set me apart in the beginning, because nobody else was doing it,” she said. “And nobody else was really that. You have to actually live it, or people are going to find out it’s fake. That is who I am. I’m just a Texas girl that speaks her mind, and sometimes that gets me in trouble.”

“With success, I’ve been able to sort of calm that down and go, ‘OK, I don’t have to be guns a-blazin’ all the time,” she added. “People are listening, so I can open up my softer side and show people who the whole Miranda is.'”
