  • Miranda Lambert made out big on Wednesday when the nominees for the Country Music Awards were announced. Just recently divorced from Blake Shelton, Lambert should be extremely cheerful in light of the nominations she received.

In addition to getting CMA nods in several categories, Miranda Lambert is the only female to receive a nomination for Entertainer of the Year. Does the “Little Red Wagon” singer have what it takes to win?

Miranda is up against some country music superstars in this category, where even the nomination is an honor. Other contenders for CMA Entertainer of the Year are Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, and Eric Church. Lambert is among some stiff competition for Female Vocalist of the Year as well. Can she beat out Carrie Underwood, Lee Ann Womack, Kacey Musgraves, and Kelsea Ballerini for the award?

Meanwhile Miranda Lambert’s ex was recently asked with whom he’ll hook up next since his divorce.

“I was amazed by Rihanna. She is so funny and she’s crazy about me,” Blake Shelton said. “We’ll probably end up hooking up at some point. I’m just saying.”

Rihanna will lend her expertise in the music world to all four of the coaches on The Voice this coming season.

Even though Blake Shelton and Rihanna would make a most unlikely couple, do you think The Voice coach is ready to start dating again? Even though his has long been known as a flirt, rumor has it Miranda Lambert cheated on him–being the reason he filed for divorce.

Who might you see Blake Shelton dating in the future now that he and Miranda Lambert are through?
