  • Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have split up, and Blake filed for divorce a couple of weeks ago. Now a source claims The Voice was at least in part responsible for their split.

According to this source, Miranda Lambert reportedly felt like an abandoned wife. She felt like Blake Shelton was more into The Voice than he was into her. And that supposedly hurt.

Blake Shelton spends between seven and eight months each year in L.A. working on The Voice. L.A. is said to be among Miranda Lambert’s least favorite places, yet she would fly there to see him as often as she could–sometimes only staying a day or so and then flying home.

Miranda Lambert claims–at least according to this source–that Blake rarely reciprocated. She hardly ever flew home to Oklahoma from L.A. for a day or two.

It’s a he said, she said case with regard to cheating. Initial reports say Miranda Lambert cheated on Blake Shelton for a long time. She claims he cheated on her instead.

In an unusual twist, TMZ reports that Blake Shelton–by way of a judge–ordered Miranda Lambert to remove all of her exotic animals–including a llama and a camel–from his ranch in Oklahoma.

When a couple gets divorced, the rumors always run rampant. When a divorcing couple is also a celebrity couple, the rumors are fueled by even more speculation.

Do you think The Voice really played a role in Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton’s divorce?

Do you think there was cheating involved on behalf of one or both parties?

Are you as heartbroken as some of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s fans to learn that their fairytale wasn’t all it was cracked up to be?

It will certainly be interesting to learn what emerges–both fact and fiction, no doubt–about this split in the coming days.
