While at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood took the stage to debut their much anticipated duet Somethin’ Bad, and they definitely did not disappoint!

Before they performed, their good friend and fellow country music star Brad Paisley introduced them. Miranda and Carrie sported matching studded leather jackets and similar hairstyles, and there was no denying the chemistry between the girls both as singers and friends.

“I’m a huge Carrie Underwood fan,” Lambert said before their performance. “‘Somethin’ Bad’ is a meshing of our styles, and there aren’t many female collaborations in our format, so I’m really excited to be debuting it on the Billboard Awards.”

Miranda had previously talked to Billboard, and admitted to being intimidated by Carrie. “Singing with Carrie Underwood is very, very intimidating. I’ll be honest. She is an amazing vocalist,” Lambert said. “Asking her to do [the duet] was nerve-wracking.”

“I sent her an e-mail, a long, blabbing e-mail about if she wanted to sing on the record, it could be cool, but maybe she didn’t want to, and if she liked the song, but she didn’t have to like the song … and when I sent it, I thought, ‘This sounds ridiculous,’” Miranda added.

Somethin’ Bad is featured on Miranda’s latest album Platinum that is due out on June 3. To pre-order Miranda’s album, click here.
