Mindy Kaling guest starred on The Walking Dead’s aftershow, Talking Dead. Kaling along with Michael Cudlitz, who plays Abraham, sat down with host Chris Hardwick to discuss the latest episode of The Walking Dead, “Claimed.” On Talking Dead, Kaling revealed her slight crush on Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and her pure lack of zombie apocalypse survival skills. But apparently this wasn’t enough to convince one of The Walking Dead’s fans that Kaling was a true fan of the series.

The fan tweeted that Kaling was “the worst” guest on Talking Dead, and had clearly never seen The Walking Dead.

Kaling did seem slightly distracted during Talking Dead, but proved herself knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and a lover of the show. So the fan’s harsh comments toward Kaling were a little out of place. However, being the quick-witted person she’s famously known as, Kaling responded by saying she saw every episode, not once, but twice.

The fan then responded by apologizing and saying she took it back right after she said it. They both kept the situation light and didn’t turn it into a case of a fan not admitting when they’re wrong. The biggest lesson from this interaction is to never doubt Kaling’s love of any show.

Kaling even tweeted a picture of herself wearing a zombie survival bag given to her by Hardwick after appearing on Talking Dead.
