The 22-year-old “Wrecking Ball” hit singer, Miley Cyrus, recently laid down a revelation in an interview with Paper Magazine. She stated that she came out as bisexual to her mom, Tish Cyrus, when she was 14.

“I remember telling (my mom) I admire women in a different way.” Miley explained.

Albeit it was years ago when the singer opened up to Tish, the magazine decided to keep the story.

Miley was only 14 during that time and was still working on the TV series Hannah Montana.  Her family didn’t think it was a good idea to share the news with the public.

In line with her daring nude photos in Paper Magazine,  Miley further exposed herself with confessions of her bisexuality.

“I don’t relate to being boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy or girl.” Miley explained clarifying her sexual preference.

Miley recalled that the confrontation with her mother Tish didn’t go very smoothly. The famous singer admitted that her mom had a hard time understanding the situation. But in the end, Tish accepted Miley for who she really is.

“She didn’t want me to be judged and she didn’t want me to go to hell. But she believes in me more than she believes in any god. I just asked for her to accept me. And she has.” said Miley.

Tish and her husband, Billy Ray Cyrus, have both shown solid support for their daughter. Despite the fact that Miley frankly described them as “conservative-ass motherf**kers”, she was still lucky to gain their acceptance.

Miley is known for dating hot celebrity men like Liam Hemsworth and Patrick Schwarzenegger. It was only after her revelation that her fans found out she had been with women too.

Miley’s life is now an open book. Tish Cyrus has been an understanding mom for embracing every chapter of her daughter’s journey.
