Megan Fox was spotted recently on the set of New Girl, where she’ll be taking over for Zooey Deschanel for the upcoming season while she spends time with her new baby girl and husband.

Fox hasn’t been in a big television role since 2004, when she appeared on Hope & Faith; since then, she’s been doing the movie-star thing in films like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Transformers franchise. Zooey Deschanel has no doubt that Fox will be great on the show, however, saying last week that she’ll get to do one episode with Megan before her character splits for jury duty.

“I’m super excited — we get to do one episode together. Essentially, my character Jess gets on jury duty and has to be sequestered, so the roommates rent out her room for a few weeks. I think Megan’s going to be fantastic,” Zooey said.

Megan Fox and ex Brian Austin Green made headlines earlier this year when Fox filed for divorce and Green responded by asking for spousal support and joint custody of their children. The couple were together off and on since 2004–after meeting on the set of Hope & Faith–but were married for five years before their split.

Megan Fox took to Instagram recently to let her fans know she was ok after taking a bit of a break from social media.

“Hi. I’m still here, I just continue to have an angsty relationship with social media. But what better way to express my apprehension than with a selfie. This time in black n white!” she wrote.

Fox also shared a photo of her youngest son, Bodhi, who is adorable in a Nirvana t-shirt and curls.
